I decided to try Alex on a whim. He said "leave it to me." There was no guarantee that he could help, but he was my last ditch effort while waiting for a rush pair of new frames that I knew would not (and did not) come in on time. The next day, I went to him and found two functional pairs of glasses that looked like new.
Alex has fair prices and a wealth of expertise. His demeanour is professional, calm and reassuring. I will be going back for any optical or jewelry related needs!! Thank you, Alex!
Note that he also does watch battery replacement and jewelry repair as well, which is super convenient. You can bring all your damaged stuff to him and get them repaired in one go, which is what I ended up doing.
The place is a bit hard to find. So it's best to call Alex beforehand so you know where to go and how to get there.

No, we specialize in professional repairs and do not sell parts separately.
What kind of parts do you use?
We use high-quality, after-market parts. Our non-prescription lenses come in a variety of colours, gradients, and clear options.
What types of glasses can you repair?
We repair plastic, metal, and rimless eyeglasses and sunglasses. We don’t repair titanium frames.
Do you use glue for repairs?
Glue is ineffective for proper repairs. If glue has been used previously, there is an extra cost for removal due to the time required to clean it.
